According to some calculations the speed of the comet at this moment (in the beginning of April) is about 42 km/s around the Sun. The comet escapes from the Earth about at 20 km/s.
By the way the Earth orbits the Sun approximately at the speed of 30 km/s.
The comet is just below the Perseus constellation. The two tails are very easily seen. The gas tail is blue and almost directly away from the Sun. The dust tail has bended to the right. The visible parts of the tails are tens of millions of kilometers long.
